Free for City-serviced accounts; a regulatory fee may apply for items requiring special handling

How often

12 Special Collections per calendar year per City-serviced account (two free pickups may be used on the same day)

Limits

Each scheduled pickup allows up to 8 large items or 25 bags/bundles/boxes; items may not exceed 72 x 48 inches; bundles max 48 inches and 40 lb; bags max 25 lb. Appliances, TVs, monitors and tires are collected separately (tires up to 16 inches, max 5 per pickup).

How to book

Submit a Special Collection Request online (lbcity.info/specialcollection) or call the Call Center at (562) 570-2876. Set items out at your regular collection location by 6 a.m. on the confirmed day, not before.
